Falcon 900B Upgrade Milestone: Eleventh InSight Retrofit

Trimec recently completed the 11th Universal Avionics InSight retrofit for a Falcon 900B. Signed in late 2024 and launched in March 2025, the project uses the InSight STC from Chicago Jet Group, which features the UNS-1Fw FMS with advanced navigation and FANS/CPDLC capabilities.

For this installation, Trimec utilized the Chicago Jet Group InSight STC, which includes the sophisticated UNS-1Fw FMS with FANS/CPDLC capabilities. This comprehensive upgrade will transform the legacy Falcon 900B, combining a number of different analog and digital instruments into a single state-of-the-art LED display. InSight will also allow the Falcon 900B to be upgraded with enhanced capabilities in the future.

The Falcon 900B project from Trimec Aviation was completed with relentless attention to detail across teardown, rewiring, system integration, and final flight-ready checks to deliver a modern, reliable, and resilient flight cockpit.
