Tucson, Arizona — August 31, 2023 — Universal Avionics (UA), an Elbit Systems Company, has partnered with AerSale (NASDAQ: ASLE) to develop and certify AerAware Enhanced Flight Vision System (EFVS). Following an intensive development effort by both parties, Universal Avionics is pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the certification flight test program with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

ClearVision is an EFVS solution that enables pilots to mitigate degraded visibility situations day and night, allowing them to move in and out of airports faster, saving time while increasing operational efficiency and safety. The revolutionary system presents advanced imaging technology and real-time aircraft primary flight information to the flight crew through SkyLens™ Head Wearable Display (HWD). SkyLens™ enables pilots to continuously operate heads-up and monitor aircraft performance while retaining situational awareness of the surrounding environment. This groundbreaking EFVS incorporates multispectral ClearVision™ sensor imaging, along with 3D synthetic vision, to provide pilots with unprecedented situational awareness. With ClearVision, visual references for approach and landing are revealed significantly earlier to pilots than would otherwise be available with natural, out-of-window viewing. This enables pilots to descend below published natural vision instrument approach minimums, providing a significant visual advantage.
