This amendment introduces an open-ended certification for the FMS, data link, and display system software, enabling operators to integrate future enhancements for connected avionics without additional engineering approvals. Future upgrades include Universal tablet apps, ADS-B integration, engine displays, embedded TAWS, and much more!

InSight significantly reduces clutter in the Falcon’s instrumentation panel, and its large LED screen is significantly easier to read, even in situations with significant glare present in the cockpit.

Jeff Stromatt, who has been flying the first InSight-equipped Falcon 900B regularly to Europe for five years, shares his perspective: “The big PFD/MFD is easy to read, very crisp, and fairly glare-proof - unlike older displays that get washed out.” Pilots can create and save custom display profiles, tailoring the system to their preferences, which enhances usability.

Stromatt highlights why InSight stands out: “You don’t want to be looking down in the cockpit while flying. InSight places all the information right in front of you, so you don’t have to.” The system supports RNP approaches, bringing older airframes to the performance level of brand-new aircraft.
