GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - May 29, 2018 – Universal Avionics (UA) Authorized Dealer, Flightstar Corporation, is nearing completion of their Learjet 40 and 45 STC for ATN B1 CPDLC. The STC utilizes the aircraft's existing UA UNS-1Ew SBAS-FMS and incorporates a new UA UniLink™ UL-801 Communications Management Unit (CMU) and CVR-120 Cockpit Voice Recorder (CVR). Upon FAA approval, Flightstar will proceed with EASA, TCCA and ANAC approvals in support of worldwide operators.
FANS 1/A+ capability is accomplished with the addition of a TrueNorth Data Link Unit and Iridium Antenna.
