Four Cessna Citation business jets to be integrated with Universal’s KAPTURE™ CVR/FDR, providing 25 hours of voice recording and more than 100 hours of flight data recording.
Tucson, Arizona – June 19, 2024 – Universal Avionics (UA), an Elbit Systems company, has announced a contract to supply its KAPTURE™ Cockpit Voice (CVR) and Flight Data Recorders (FDR) to Textron Aviation across a range of its high-performance Cessna Citation jets.
The KAPTURE recorders, chosen for their compliance with the latest regulations, the ease with which data can be retrieved and analyzed, and their advanced data storage capabilities, will be installed on Cessna aircraft, including:
- Cessna Citation Longitude
Cessna Citation Latitude
Cessna Citation Ascend
Cessna Citation CJ4 Gen 2
For aircraft owners navigating evolving regulations for recorders, KAPTURE recorders provide a comprehensive solution. Their extended recording capacity exceeds mandated requirements. Users can retrieve and analyze data with ease using extensive Flight Data Applications and Services, including cloud-based data collection for Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), analysis, animation, and reporting tools for individual aircraft, with the option to aggregate at fleet levels.
